Project Manager - AI Website Migrations
We are looking for a highly organised Project Manager to own the day-to-day management of our AI-powered website migration programme moving clients' websites from one platform to another at high volume, using specialised AI tooling This is a delivery role, not a strategic one: success depends on precision, pace, and knowing exactly where every site in the pipeline stands at any given moment. Enhanced attention to detail is a must.
You will sit at the center of a high-throughput migration operation, working closely with the developers building and maintaining our migration tooling, the developers who finesse each site once migrated, and the QA process that sits between them. You will also be supporting the Head of Delivery in reporting progress to clients and using your own judgement to assess next steps, rather than needing to check and come back.
Job Type: Contract and/or Permanent (open to discussion)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Remote (preferable UK based)
About the Role
Migration Tracking & Workflow
Maintain a live, accurate picture of every website in the migration pipeline: stage, blockers, and next steps and be able to answer detailed questions without needing to check first.
Develop a thorough working understanding of the migration workflow, from automated migration through QA to final finessing, and apply judgement to assess next steps independently.
Own delivery trackers and dashboards capable of handling high volumes of concurrent migrations, and spot risks or blockers early.
Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Reporting
Support the Head of Delivery in reporting migration progress back to clients, clearly and accurately.
Produce timely status updates covering both individual sites and overall programme progress, translating technical detail into language clients can act on.
Cross-Team Coordination
Work closely with the developers building and maintaining the migration tooling, and the developers finessing sites post-migration, coordinating their workload against the pipeline.
Coordinate the QA process that sits between tooling-driven migration and final finessing, keeping issues moving without stalling throughput.
About You
Delivery & Attention to Detail
3-5 years of experience in development project or delivery management, ideally involving high-volume or repeatable delivery work.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to stay across a large number of concurrent workstreams without losing accuracy.
Experience with website migrations, CMS/platform transitions, or similar technical delivery work is a strong advantage.
Judgement & Communication
Able to assess a situation and determine next steps independently, rather than routinely escalating. Whilst also understanding when to escalate
A clear, precise communicator, equally comfortable with developers, QA, clients, and senior delivery leadership.
Proactive about flagging risks and blockers before they affect delivery.
Growth Mindset
Curious about AI-driven and emerging delivery tooling; comfortable in a small, fast-moving team where the workflow itself is still evolving.
Based in the UK.
Willingness to occasionally travel for client meetings or team workshops
